Thomas J. Buchte was valedictorian of his high school class in Sheffield, Massachusetts and was offered scholarships to numerous world-class universities. He chose to attend the University of Southern California, where he took Ira Kalb's marketing classes. Thomas exhibited many of the skills Professor Kalb was looking for in a consultant — intelligence, creativity, maturity, understanding of business fundamentals, and the ability to communicate well under pressure. In late 2007, Thomas joined Kalb & Associates as a senior consultant.

The Daniel Pearl Foundation Los Angeles, CA July 2005 to Present Volunteer helping the Pearl family put on various events and fundraiser's in the Los Angeles area and designing marketing communications for the foundation’s programs and events. Radio Disney Burbank, CA Marketing Intern that assisted the 3 Radio Disney Regional Station Managers responsible for 50+ stations and affiliates across the U.S.and the Radio Disney’s Production Artist for web and print.
